On Thursday, May 10, the girls varsity soccer team had a home game against Clear Lake. Nevada ended up winning 5-0.
The girls had some good plays and were in control 90% of the time. Hattie Rhodes played well and scored two goals. Meredith Harter also played well and had two goals. Maddie Stevens had a good game and scored.
“Abby Lindsey did a good job of stepping back into a different role that she hasn’t played very much before,” said Head Coach Randy Davis.
Coach Davis would still like to work on defense against a fast forward and finishing shots.
