On Friday, April 20th, the Nevada girls’ soccer team faced Collins-Maxwell at home. The girls won, 1-0 and their only goal was scored by Addi Vorm in the first minute of the game.
“We started off fast, and continued to have chances but just couldn’t find the back of the goal,” said Coach Randy Davis.
Overall, the Cubs played well, as they had 29 shots on the goal to Collins-Maxwell’s two. A goal for the future is to execute better in the final third offensively.
The Nevada girls’ soccer team plays their next game on Thursday, April 26th against Pella at home.
