On April 19, the Nevada boys varsity golf team played at Bright Grandview in Des Moines.
“The boys played tremendously well,” said Coach Ryan Brown. “A team score of 143 is most certainly the low nine hole score in my 13 years of coaching. It is really a testament to the depth we have on our team”
“Harold Dobernecker, Kyle Linder and Caden Jones are great ball strikers when they get into rhythm. They confidently attack fairways and holes. Cam Shill is a great competitor and not much rattles him.”
“It was fun to watch the varsity guys support younger players like Eli (Heginger) and Clay (Bauman) finish their rounds,” said Coach Brown. “They continue to improve. They are both very coachable.”
