On April 10, the Nevada middle school boys track team had a meet at North Polk. For overall team performance, the Cubs placed fifth out of eight teams. “We did a good job racing against much bigger schools,” said Coach Karl Corbin.
Some people that did well were Caeden DaSilva and Gavin Melohn in the 100 meter dash. They got first and second. The Cubs boys also raced a very good 4×800 meter relay, and James Edward did well in the high jump.
“I was pleased that we were warming up and passing around the baton before our races,” said Coach Corbin.
