Boys varsity track competed at Winterset on Friday, March 30.
In shot put, Luke Fevold threw 47-3.508 and got second. Luke Merfeld threw 41-00.00 and got sixth. Payton Shiller threw x30-02.50 and got 31st.
For Discus, Luke Merfeld threw 115-10 and placed eighth. Payton Shiller also threw 67-08 and placed 32nd.
Boys long jump, Dylan Jensen jumped 18-09.50 and placed fifth. Andrew Saunders jumped 16-04.00 and placed 21st. Ayden Rhodes jumped 15-10.00 and placed 24th.
In high jump, Om’Unique Wilkerson jumped 6-02.00 and placed first. Myleek Wilkerson jumped 5-04.00 and placed 10th.
In the 3200 meter run Malachi Hornbuckle ran 10:34.13 and placed second. Dalton Baker ran 10:49.85 and placed fifth.
Jacob Sanders, Noah Nussbaum, Sam Abraham, and Carter Franzen were part of the 4×800. Nevada ended up placing fourth with a time of 1:06.61.
Om’Unique Wilkerson, Luke Merfeld, Sam Abraham, and Jakob Strottman were in the 4×110 meter shuttle hurdles. Nevada placed second.
In the 100 meter dash, Rodrigo Perez ran 11.94 and place fourth. Preston Cattanach ran 12.05 and placed sixth.
In the 400 meter dash, Ayden Rhodes ran a time of 58.59 and placed 11th. Andrew Saunders ran 59.16 and placed 14th.
Brendan Sellberg, Jakob Strottman, Rodrigo Perez, and Joven Nelson ran in the 4×200 meter relay. Their final time was 1:32.59 and placed first.
In the 110 meter hurdles, Om’Unique ran 17.35 and placed seventh. Sam Abraham ran 17.54 and placed eighth.
In the 1600 meter run, Malachi Hornbuckle ran 4:46.30 and placed second. Dalton Baker ran 5.14.90 and placed 13th.
For the 200 meter dash Joven Nelson ran 23.50 and placed first. Dylan Jensen ran 26.02 and placed 14th.
For the 400 meter hurdles, Jakob Strottman ran 59.75 and placed fourth. Sam Abraham ran 1:01.35 and placed fifth.
Luke Merfeld, Sam Abraham, Jacob Sanders, and Malachai ran in the distance medley. They placed fourth, with a time of 3:55.45.
For the 800 meter run, Noah Nussbaum ran 2:12.04 and placed third. Carter Franzen ran 2:12.68 and placed fourth.
Brendan Sellberg, Preston Cattanach, Rodrigo Perez, and Joven Nelson ran in the 4×100 meter relay. They ended placing first, with a time of 44.70.
Om’Unique Wilkerson, Carter Franzen, Jakob Strottman, and Ayden Rhodes ran in the 4×400 meter relay. They placed eighth and had a time of 3:48.60.
Brendan Sellberg, Preston Cattanach, Rodrigo Perez, and Joven Nelson ran in the 800 sprint medley. They had a time of 1:36.21 and placed first.
Nevada placed second in the meet with 116 points.
