Jim Kieffer is the assistant boys golf coach. He has been the assistant coach for boys and girls golf since 2009. Coach Kieffer has been playing golf since he was 13 and has been hooked on it ever since. He started coaching the girls team as an assistant after Coach Lawler had asked him to several years ago.
Some of the goals that he has are to have the kids to get to work together as a team and use the talent that they all have to make a strong run to get to the state meet. He believes that having more JV meets will help get the kids the experience that they need and to have more confidence for the next meet.
Coach Kieffer believes that coaches have been given a “gift” to teach and coach the game and that they are willing to give that to any of the kids that want it.
