The Freshman boys basketball played the Roland-Story Norsemen on January 26 in Story City. The Cubs lost 49-57.
The Cubs were led by Cooper Bovee on offense with 17 points and four 3 pointers.
Coach Jon Kruse said that they were taking much better shots in the game, which they had been working on in practice. Kruse also added that the Cubs were up by 10 at halftime and the Norsemen had a strong run in the 4th quarter and they just couldn’t keep up.
