On Saturday January 6th, the JV girls basketball team took on Colo-Nesco. The Cubs and Royals both played a good defensive game.
The Cubs went into half with a 16-8 point lead. Colo took its first lead with under two minutes remaining in the game, but it didn’t last long. Sydney Mosinski hit a 12 ft jumper and then Addi Vorm made three free throws in the final minute to keep the Cubs in the lead. Nevada defeated Colo 26-25.
