On January 5, the Nevada JV girl played the Saydel Eagles for a enjoyable match up. The night ended with a win for the Cubs, the final score Nevada-40, Saydel-10.
Addisyn Vorm was asked about the game. She said, “As a team we played and finished at the hoop very well. Our team played really really good defense. We had a ton of steals.”
“Something to improve on as a team is running through the plays fully and not forcing turnovers,” said Vorm. “We didn’t have that many key plays, we just played really well all around.”
Next week the Cubs will face off against South Hamilton. Tip off starts at 7:15. Go Cubs!
