The boys JV soccer team traveled to Iowa Falls to take on IFA on Thursday, May 2. The weather conditions for the match were phenomenal. There was no wind, and the sun was out for a nice evening.
The Cubs’ were down 2-0 right off the bat, but fought hard and battled back for a 3-2 victory. Noah Nusbaum scored two goals for Nevada, and Carlos Buenrrostro scored the other goal on the night.
Will Marshall had a great assist to the winning goal.
Jake Garvin said, “I think we played well and fought hard. We didn’t fall apart when we were down early, and battled back to get the win.”
The boys take on Gilbert @ Gilbert on May 11.
