On Thursday, April 25th, the Nevada boys soccer team traveled to Collins-Maxwell for a game. The boys walked away with a big 10-0 win, their largest goal margin of the season.
Offense was certainly the highlight: the boys had good touches and kept position very well. A combination of good play on offense and efficient defense was the key for the team.
Goals were scored by Jose Buenrrostro (3), Carlos Buenrrostro (1), Anthony Ellis (1), Kody Kruschwitz (1), Chase Lycke (1), Taylor Maiefski (2), and Devin See (1).
Although offense was at the center of the win, the Nevada defense still did not let up. Sophomore Jalen Lancaster said, “As far as I could tell their defense had possession four or five times throughout the game…maybe.”
The team was certainly happy with the big win, and will hope to continue moving forward with that same momentum in their game against ADM at home on Monday, April 29.
