The Nevada girls JV soccer team won their game against Indianola on Friday, April 5th. The girls worked really hard, and they worked really well as a team.
Hailee Weber scored the only goal off of an assist from Alex Arnaud. The defensive unit of Hannah Waldera, Mylie Bleeker, Chloe Henry and Karissa Mayle played well together, and with goalkeepers Addi Vorm and Izzy Humpal-Pash, kept Indianola off the scoreboard.
Coach Mark Rhodes said, “The Indianola game was a really competitive match throughout the game. I thought our team was able dictate the tempo of the game by keeping possession of the ball and connecting passes. While we were unable to score another goal, we were able to get into the attack and keep them under pressure. Overall we were pleased with how the girls performed and the progress they continue to show.”
The JV girls won the game 1-0 against Indianola. They are now 3-0. Their next game is on Monday, April 15th, against Ballard.
