On April 1, The Nevada varsity girls soccer team traveled to Bondurant to play the Blue Jays. Tessa Borwick and Mayzi Weig were the only two to score in the game in the 2-3 loss.
Coach Randy Davis said, “We gave up an early goal and fell behind 2-0 in the first 10 minutes. The team did a nice job of not giving up and understanding there was a lot of game left. At half time, we reorganized and changed our formation and put pressure on B/F and tied the score at 2’s. Eventually we lost in the second over time.”
The Cubs play again next Monday night at Ballard.
