The Nevada JV boys basketball team hosted the Bondurant Farrar Blue Jays on January 17. The Cubs won 65-45.
Coach Greg Baethke said, “This was one the best game of the season.”
The top scorer of the game was Jarrett Fredin with 16 points. Cooper Bovee had 14 points. Chase Lycke scored 11 points. Lycke also led in assists in the game with four.
Henry Nelson led the team in defensive rebounds with a total of five. The Cubs had a total of 15 defensive rebounds and nine steals.
The Cubs had a great first quarter scoring 15 points and holding the Blue Jays to only seven points. The Cubs had a outstanding second quarter scoring 23 points. In the third quarter the Cubs scored 15 points. In the final quarter the Cubs scored 13 points and held the Blue Jays to only six points.
The team’s season has ended, and they are looking forward to next season.
