The JV boys basketball team played against Gilbert Friday night, February 1. The Cubs had a hard-fought night against the Tigers. They played their hardest but unfortunately didn’t come out with the win.
The leading scorer of the night was Henry Nelson with a total of ten points. Cooper Bovee contributed nine points. Chase Lycke also had five points for the team Friday night.
“Our perimeter defense was good, but we struggled on inside defense,” said freshman post Connor Schnettgoecke.
The boys played a good season and are excited to get back on the court with each other next year.
