On Friday, December 14, the varsity boy basketball team took on Prairie City-Monroe at home. They fell short by a score of 54-75.
Despite the loss, the team played well together.
“PCM fed off their own energy, but I thought our guys really picked up our own energy from a team standpoint,” said Coach Tyler Struck.
Junior Kody Kruschwitz led the way for the Cubs with 19 points, and junior Tyler Sansgaard close behind with 18 points. Senior Devin See led the team in rebounds with five.
The Cubs are 4-5 on the season. The team resumes play on Friday, January 4 against Gilbert at home.
