The Nevada high school varsity basketball boys played Ballard on Saturday, December 15. The final score of the game was Nevada-36, Ballard-65.
Some leading scorers of the game were Tyler Sansgaard, who had 14, and Kody Kruschwitz, who scored nine.
“We played well at times, but we didn’t handle their transition or their post player very well,” said Coach Tyler Struck.
Some things that the Cubs need to improve on are scoring in the half court and getting back to shooting the basketball better.
“I’m seeing a lot of improvement in us. Overall there are team things we need to improve on, and improve faster, to stay with the better teams we’re playing,” said Coach Struck .
The Cubs’ next game is Tuesday, December 18, at Wells Fargo Arena.
