On Tuesday, December 3rd, the 9th grade boys basketball headed to Iowa Falls-Alden for their first away game of the season. They won 57-33.
The boys started the game out with a bang, jumping to 20-2 in the first quarter. That set the mood of the game early.
The boys as a whole had a great game. They had 29 offensive rebounds and 16 steals.
James Edwards led the team with 19 points and 13 rebounds, putting in a huge effort for the game. Connor Schnettgoecke had 11 points and 10 rebounds, also making a great effort for the team.
“Our ball movement and defensive effort really helped us stay ahead after the first period,” said player Gavin Malohn.
Their next game is Friday, December 14 at home against PCM.
