On Friday, November 30, the 9th grade boys basketball team played Roland-Story at home and won 56-21.
Nevada played great on Friday, their biggest lead was 41 points. After halftime, the score was 29-8. Their best quarter was the third quarter, and at the end of the third quarter, the score was 50-11.
James Edwards, Colin Memmer, and Conner Schnettgoecke played well, and Schnettgoecke did not let anyone in the paint. The top leading scores of the game were Schnettgoecke, Spencer Grant, and Edwards with 12 points each.
“We need to work on free-throw for next time,” said 9th grade player Gavin Melohn. “We also need to work on teamwork and knowing what we are doing during a game.”
The next game is on Friday, December 7th, against South Hamilton at home, in the Nevada Middle School, at 5:45 p.m.
