A demanding game lead to a tough loss for the 9th grade volleyball team Tuesday, September 25. A great matchup against North Polk brought up many learning opportunities for the team. With scores of 21-25 and 13-25, the girls were able to push the whole game with communication errors at a minimum.
Setter Mayzi Weig was able to guide her team and keep the game going with her assists. Maddie Dunham had a great night for defense and was able to get to many difficult balls hit to the back row. The squad played very well as a group and were not discouraged by the hard matchup.
“We communicated very well as a team and had very few miscommunication errors, so I am very happy with that,” said Coach Abby Hansen.
The team plays their next home game on Tuesday, October 2 against PCM.
