The seventh grade Cubs volleyball team played the Greene County Rams on September 13th.
The A team put on a dominate performance, winning their sets 21-19 and 21-7. The B team had great effort for the games, but fell just short in both games 20-22 and 17-21. The C team then went on to split their games winning 22-20, and then losing a hard fought match 21-16.
Coach Corey Long said, “Over all the girls did a better job serving tonight, but we still need to work on seeing the ball come over the net better so that we can get a good pass.”
The team did a great job getting serves in the second game and look to improve on moving to the ball and making accurate passes.
The team hopes to keep on improving as they will take on the Gilbert Tigers on September 17th at Nevada.
