On Friday, June 1, the varsity softball team had a home game against Greene County. Nevada won with the final score of 7-4.
Sydney Mosinski, Riley Mailey, Brooklyn Jensen and Emma Griffin all had great night s at the plate. Mackenzie Garrett did really well with pitching, and the team had good defense all night.
Nevada fell behind 4-3 for part of the game, but they were able to battle back for the win.
“Our bats are starting to come around, and we are continuing to play solid defense,” said Coach John Bass.
