Wednesday, May 30, varsity softball had a home game against 7th ranked conference rivals North Polk. The Cubs lost 2-8.
“Overall we played one of our better games so far this season,” said Coach John Bass.
The outfield had an outstanding night. Sydney Mosinski, Riley Mailey and Mady Farmer all had some great plays.
A highlight from the game was Sydney Mosinski hitting her first homerun of the season.
Coach Bass said that the team would continue to focus on hitting on the weeks to come.
