Cael Franzen Is a sophomore at Nevada High School. His winter sport of choice is wrestling. Cael also participates in baseball, track, and football. Last year Cael sustained a torn MCL in the beginning of the wrestling season during practice. Luckley the tear was not too severe, and he did not need to have surgery on his knee.
“One thing I did to get better was lots of rest and physical therapy,” Franzen said.
His injury was healed right at the beginning of track season, so he was able to participate in track.
“I was really bummed out about not getting to wrestle last season, but I am really looking forward to this wrestling this season.”
The Cubs are back in action Saturday for their tournament in DCG.
