For three days, May 16-18, the boys track team traveled down to Drake to run on the blue oval. The weather wasn’t great for the athletes – very hot on Thursday and pouring rain for most of the rest of the weekend.

Jakob Strottman said, “Overall, state went pretty well. Joven went off in the 400 low hurdles and beat his record. We had some successes, and I think this year’s experience for the younger kids will give them the drive to go back to state next year and be even more successful.”
