The girls golf team took the trip to Carroll to compete in their district meet on Monday, May 20th. Nevada placed third, just falling short of qualifying for state as a team.
The Cubs scored 380 points to second-place Carroll’s 373 and first-place Gilbert’s 358.
Emma Griffin recorded a back nine personal best with 38. She finished with 80 points which qualified her for state individually.
Emma golf at the 3A state championships at Otter Creek Golf Course in Ankeny on May 28th and 29th.
