On Thursday, April 25, the Nevada girls varsity golf team played well against tough competition. The meet was in Marshalltown, and the Nevada girls placed sixth as a team against 14 other teams. The five teams that beat Nevada were all ranked teams.
Out of 90 players, senior Emma Griffin, got 12th place with an 87.
“It was a great performance and a great test to where we are as a team,” said Coach Mike Lawler.
The Nevada girls have a had a very good season so far and they look forward to continuing to compete well.
