On Thursday, May 2, the JV girls played a big game against Gilbert at Cub Stadium. The Cubs went into the game looking to get their tenth win of the season. This would be a great win for them because they lost to the Tigers the year before.
The Cubs had many shots on goal, and they did a great job of possessing most of the game. Alex Arnaud had the only goal of the night with a great assist from Katelyn Kingsbury.
“We went out there and executed strong passes and with a great amount of communication we were able to pull out a win,” said Alex Arnaud. “Everyone played their part and we all knew how much everyone wanted this win. We will play them again and hope for the outcome to come in our favor, we just need to keep up the hard work.”
