On Monday, April 29, the MS boys track team ran at South Hamilton. The eighth grade boys won the meet with a score of 186 points.
There were many first place wins for the night. Carson Rhodes placed first in the discus. Karter Beving placed first in the 100 meter dash and the 200 meter dash. The 4×800 meter relay team placed first. The team consisted of Rowan Steele, Owen Freeman, Rhett Harter, and Nick Frideres.
The 4×200 meter relay team and sprint medley both placed first with runners Aidan Freeman, Mauricio Garcia, Edgar Cabrera, and Billy Gibbons. Lastly, the 4×100 meter relay team placed first. The team consisted of Billy Gibbons, Karter Beving, Edgar Cabrera, and Aidan Freeman.
“We ran well and that made us take a huge lead in many races”, said Aidan Freeman.
Their season ended on Tuesday, May 7.
