The Nevada girls JV golf team participated in a three team meet which included Perry, Nevada, and Gilbert on Thursday, April 19 at Ames Golf and Country Club. The girls placed second of the three teams.
The team’s number one golfer was Bianca Sponseller. Sponseller golfed a nine hole score of 56.
Other competitors included Grace Heiden, Shianne Flores, Ella Higgins, and Abbi Collins. Heiden golfed a score of 75 over nine holes, with Flores golfing a 70.
Heiden commented, “I think there were improvements from everyone on the team, even if it was in a small way.”
Moving forward the team looks to make improvements and continue to golf well.
