The Nevada boys track team ran at North Polk on Monday, April 29, and placed second.
Joven Nelson had an amazing night with three golds. He ran the open 400 meter, the 4×100 meter relay, and the 4×400 meter relay.
The 4×100 team consisted of Caeden Da Silva, Dylan Jensen, Jakob Strottman, and Nelson and won with a time of 43.87.
The 4×400 meter relay team of Da Silva, Carter Franzen, Strottman, and Nelson won with a time of 3:20.40.
Da Silva also had a good night in the relays, and he placing second in the 400 meter behind Nelson in a time of 52.2.
Strottman also placed second in the 200 meter dash with a time of 23.49.
The 4×110 shuttle hurdle relay team of Nelson, Andrew Saunders, Jordan Barrett, and Sam Abraham placed second in a time of 1:04.76.
Theo Skelton, Jensen, Saunders, and Caleb Kooiker placed third in the sprint med.
The boys run again at Gilbert for districts on Friday, May 10th.
