On Thursday, April 18, the Nevada varsity boys golf team had an excellent meet in Marshalltown and placed first. Nevada had two other teams to play against. The teams were Ballard and Forest City, but Nevada took the lead getting a low score of 286.
“We believe that 286 is a new team record for low score,” said Coach Ryan Brown.
For individual scores, the top five golfers were all from Nevada. Tyler Sansgaard got first with a 70, Caden Jones and Dylan Sporrer tied for second with a 71.
We all look forward to seeing the varsity boys golf continue winning and getting record low scores.
