The boys varsity golf team competed in a seven team meet on May 4th, at Ames Golf Country Club. The boys finished first place with a score of 300, second place was Gilbert with 330 and third place was DCG with 348.
The Cubs did very well as a whole, Dylan Sporrer was the meet medalist, shooting a 73, Caden Jones was runner up with 74 strokes, Tyler Sansgaard with 76, Harold Dobernecker and James Carsrud shot a 77, Kyle Linder with a 78, Thomas Crawford shot an 84, and Tyler Hansen with a 94.
Nevada placed six of their eight golfers in the top seven individually.
The boys’ regular season play is finished, and they will start their post season play in Ames on May 10th.
