The Nevada girls JV soccer team fell to Adel Desoto Minburn on Monday, April 29th. The team played well and statistically held an advantage of nine shots with six being on target compared to four shots with one on target for ADM.
Katelyn Kingsbury played very well even though she was put into positions that she didn’t have much experience in. Kingsbury stepped into this position at Pella and again at ADM and she did a great job in both matches.
Coach Mark Rhodes said, “ This was another competitive game, and the girls played well. We continued to show improvement all over the field. The girls played calm and relaxed which allowed us to keep possession and build up our attacking chances.”
The JV girls lost the game 1-0 against ADM. Their next game is on Friday, May 10 against Gilbert at home.
