The Nevada Cubs varsity golf team traveled State Center on Monday, April 15th.
Dylan Sporrer was the medalist of the meet. Dylan had a great day even with the extremely windy conditions.
Coach Ryan Brown said, “We knew that it was going to be a difficult day to catch greens in regulation, so there was a premium on the short game and getting up and down. When it is is that windy, you have to accept that a par is like a birdie, and bogies are like pars. You might not post your best score, but you have to be mentally resilient enough to grind it out, fight for your pars, and maintain your composure to insure that 5’s don’t turn into 6’s¨.
