The varsity girls golf team placed first, with 383 points, on Tuesday, April 16th, at West Marshall.
It was the Cubs’ fourth meet on the season.
In total there were 10 teams in the West Marshall girls varsity golf meet.
“I was really happy to play on such a nice day, and I felt like they had a breakout meet with putting up a 383 overall,” said Coach Mike Lawler. “Also it shows great potential for remainder of season while also proving they can be competitive at state.”
Grace Cahill and Kelby Rewerts had personal best rounds which is a great confidence booster for the remainder of the season.
Emma Griffin took second individually and Rewerts was third individually.
The Cubs next meet is Thursday, April 25 in Marshalltown.
