The Nevada boys’ track team had a great night in Saydel on April 11. Nevada placed fifth with a score of 72.5.
There were three first place wins for Nevada: the sprint medley with a time of 1:37.33, 4×100 with a time of 44.96 and 4×200 with a time of 1:33.13.
Connor Hines has a personal best in the low hurdles. Jakob Strottman had a nice run in the 100 meter dash placing eighth with a time of 11.96.
“We had a good night as a team at Saydel,” said Coach John Pelzer. “The weather wasn’t the greatest, but I was proud of the way the boys competed. We had several high places which you can see in the results I have attached. I was pleased with the 4×800 team as they ran their best time of the year.”
The boys track team runs next in Madrid on Tuesday, April 16.
