On Thursday, April 4th, Nevada hosted Roland Story, Grinnell, Ballard, North Polk, and Gilbert for their home track meet.
Nevada finished first in the 4×110 meter shuttle hurdle relay. Joven Nelson, Andrew Saunders, Jordan Barrett, and Sam Abraham ran with a time of 1:05.37.
Caden DaSilva won the 100 meter dash with a time of 11.71.
Jakob Strottman, DaSilva, Abraham, and Nelson won the 4×200 with a time of 1:32.59.
DaSilva won the 200 meter dash with a time of 23.85.
Nelson won the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 55.84.
Nevada finished first in the 4×100. Dylan Jensen, Nelson, DaSilva, and Strottman ran the 4×100 with a time of 44.38.
“I think we are looking pretty good for the 4×2 and 4×1, for this early in the year. We have a lot to work on but I think throughout the season, with more practice and meets, we will improve our times,” said Strottman.
Abraham won the long jump with a distance of 20’10”.
