The Nevada varsity and JV track boys hosted a two class meet on Tuesday, March 26.
They won the Class B meet with a total of 320 points.
Joven Nelson won the 100 meter dash with a time of 11.66 and the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 55.98. This was the fourth fastest time in the state for the first week of competition.
Caeden Da Silva finished second in the 100 meter dash with a time of 11.71
Dalton Baker finished first in the 1600 meter run with a time of 5:05.58. He also won the 3200 meter run with a time of 10:36.39.
Caeden Da Silva got first in the 200 meter dash, running a 23.85.
The Nevada 4×1 team with Dylan Jensen, Da Silva, Nelson, and Jakob Strottman finished first, running 44.87.
Coach Jon Pelzer said, “The best thing about the meet Is that we won the team title. The last couple of years Iowa Falls has beaten us, so it was good to win at home.”
