The Nevada 9th grade boys basketball team beat North Polk 49-38, on Friday, February 8.
Tate Maier and Jacob Mumm were the leading scorers, each scoring ten points. Connor Schnettgoecke was the second leading scorer with eight points. Gavin Melohn was three for three on the free throw line.
“We started slow offensively because we weren’t moving the ball enough,” said Coach John Kruse. “We were able to get the ball moving a lot more in the second half of the first quarter.”
The 9th Grade boys are done for the season. They played really well this season, and we cannot wait to see them in action next year.
