The 9th grade boys basketball team had tight game with the Gilbert Tigers Friday night, February 1. They battled throughout all four quarters, but they fell short with a score of 58-63.
James Edwards was the leading scorer of the night with 16 points. Ty Dittmer contributed 13 points. Colin Memmer made three three-pointers and finishing with a total of 12 points.
“The big difference was the 3rd quarter,” said Coach Jon Kruse. “We only scored six and they scored 19.”
The 9th grade boys basketball team play next at Boone, on Monday, February 11.
