The Nevada JV boys wrestling team had a important meet, January 26th, at Guthrie Center.
The Cubs started off strong, but than the competition began to soar above them.
Some of the other competing schools were Underwood, Greene County, Moravia, Ogden, Southeast Valley, Manson NW Webster, Van Meter, Missouri Valley, Woodward-Granger.
“The competition was tough,” said Coach Larry Stufflebeem. “We just didn’t finish as strongly as I would have liked to have seen, but I could tell the effort was there.”
Zach Stinn placed third and scored nine team points for the Cubs.
Dominick Garcia placed third and scored nine team points.
Jalen Lancaster placed fourth and scored four team points.
Luis Lopez placed fourth and scored four team points.
All together the Cubs put together a great effort at Guthrie Center.
