The Nevada wrestling team had a tough night at South Hamilton on Tuesday, January 15. Nevada had three, hard-fought losses against Ogden, South Hamilton, and Gilbert.
During the Ogden match, Jacob MacVey, Holden Fry, Camdan Vincent, Benton Shill, and Sam Steele all contributed with six points each and Noah Nusbaum with three. The Cubs had a close loss, 33-36.
In the next match against Gilbert, Nate Dumbaugh and Sam Steele both contributed six points. Unfortunately, it was not enough to beat Gilbert. Gilbert ended up with a win over the Cubs, 69-12.
In the final match against South Hamilton, Jacob Mcvey, Camdan Vincent, Nate Dumbaugh, Dominick Garcia, Cale Dumbaugh and Noah Nusbaum all had six points.
The team competes next at sectionals this Saturday, February 2.
