On December 18, the Nevada JV girls basketball team got the experience of playing in Wells Fargo against the Greene County Rams. The Cubs destroyed the Rams 52-6.
Freshman Elie Tuhn was the leading scorer with 15 points. Sophomores Katelyn Kingsbury and Kayla Dunson both had seven points for the Cubs. Nevada had 11 different people score.
The Cubs defense was tremendous, only allowing six points the whole game.
“Playing at Wells Fargo was a good experience for my teammates and me,” said freshman Briar Crain. “Coach Uthe did a great job getting everybody an opportunity to play and possibly scoring some points.”
