On December 15, Nevada’s JV Gold team competed on their home court against Ballard. Nevada wasn’t able to hang on, which resulted in a 51-32 loss.
Kayla Dunson led the team in points with a total of nine. Hannah Fritz followed close behind with eight.. Taylor Conrad also contributed to the team with six.
By the third quarter Nevada was only trailing Ballard by five points with a score of 26-31. Unfortunately as the second half progressed, Ballard was able to pull away from Nevada, making the score 51-32.
Coach Uthe said, “This was our third game in three days, and I think we got tired towards the end.”
Nevada’s next JV Gold team game will be on January 4, at home against Gilbert.
