What a meet for the Middle School Cubs wrestling team on Monday, December 17th when they wrestled in South Hamilton against multiple schools. The Cubs did an amazing job, winning 26 matches and only losing 14.
There were several pins that night and lots of points scored. The Cubs showed a lot of growth taking lots of shots. That means the wrestlers went for a move like a single leg takedown or a double leg takedown. They also were a lot more aggressive.
Some wrestlers that did well were; Calvin Franzen, Emanuel Rico, Kaden Weber, Caleb Sutherland, Daniel Lindemann, and, Rowan Steele.
“Overall, the whole team has shown great improvement over the season. They have gone from not knowing much to learning and showing it out on the mat,” said Coach Karl Corbin.
