The Nevada Cubs JV boys basketball team faced off against the PCM Mustangs, Friday, December 14th. The Cubs fought hard and came out with a 62-38 win.
The first quarter was very competitive. The score was 10-11. The game quickly flipped because at half the game was 37-17, and the Cubs never looked back and got a win. This puts them at 5-2 on the season.
Some key players were Jarrett Fredin with 12 points, Cooper Bovee with 10 points, and Chase Lycke with eight points.
“This was our best effort game for both offense and defense, and we continue to get better day by day. We are always looking to improve and get better, and this game we really did,” said Coach Baethke.
The Cubs resume play following winter break.
