On Tuesday, December 11th, Nevada played North-Polk in Alleman. Nevada fell short, losing to the Comets 34-60. That makes their season record 3-3.
Once the Cubs got behind, their overall moral went down, and the confidence they had wasn’t regained during the game.
Coach Tyler Struck said, “I thought we did some things well, but once we got behind, we struggled.”
Tyler Sansgaard led Nevada with 10 points, one of which being a three pointer. Kody Kruschwitz and Devin See were not far behind, each of them putting seven points on the board for Nevada. Brayden Bottorf netted six points.
The Cubs play next Tuesday, December 18th, at Wells Fargo in Des Moines against the Greene County Rams.
