On Thursday, December 6, Nevada hosted a middle school wrestling meet.
The Cubs won 15 matches and lost 27.
“We did not perform very well in front of our home crowd, we had some silly mistakes but we will get back the basics and we will get better,” said Coach Karl Corbin.
Some kids that stood out for the Cubs were Edgar Cabrera, Nate Anderson, Liam Anderson, and Kaden Weber for winning their matches.
The Cubs hope to improve for the next meet on December 13 at Jefferson.
