The Nevada High School wrestling team had their season opener meet on Monday, November 27, as Nevada wrestled a duel against Knoxville.
Nevada’s Dominick Garcia, Noah Nusbaum, Holden Fry, and Camden Vincent all won by pins on Tuesday. Overall the team wrestled very well. Nevada had nine matches and won five.
“We work really hard, and everyone’s starting to be aggressive. If we keep staying aggressive, we’ll be on a great path when we have a full lineup,” said Coach Lonnie Ferguson.
The final score for the meet was Nevada 30-Knoxville 54.
